Nikkei Research Access Panel
The panel mainly consists of people who have registered as respondents in the Internet survey and those who have registered as respondents in the mail survey.
It is possible to carefully refine the respondents so they are suitable to the area of research based on detailed attribute information (for example, sex, age, occupation, marital status, number of children, number of people living together and their attributes, annual household income, and personal properties), allowing a survey to be conducted efficiently. In addition, you can conduct a survey with a condition that is not included in the attribute information (for example, “owing a car”) by refining respondents to only those who match the target conditions after an advance screening survey is conducted.
*The Nikkei Research Access Panel is only intended for a survey. It is not used for the delivery of advertises or direct mail.
The Internet panel consists of panelists who cooperate in the Internet survey.
Nikkei Research recruits panel that can cooperate in the Internet survey on an as-needed basis. Even when we intensively recruits panel through a campaign, Nikkei Research avoids concentrated applications from a specific website or medium. In this way, we promotes establishment of the panel in an appropriate manner to prevent the composition of panel from being disproportionate.
At panel registration, Nikkei Research does not accept duplicated applications with the same email address. In addition, we regularly eliminate panel who seem to be duplicated registrants, such as people having the same name and living at the same address, even if the email address is different. Therefore, the quality of our panel is always maintained at a high level.
On the home page, registered information can be changed and updated at any time. Therefore, the latest information is always presented. In addition, Nikkei Research conducts regular update surveys targeting all panels to ensure that the information is up-to-date.

The panel consists of some of those who have cooperated in past surveys. The panel was respondents randomly selected from the Basic Resident Registers for some leave-behind surveys and mail surveys as well as respondents for some telephone surveys, for which the list of respondents was randomly created based on the telephone directory or telephone number.
The average survey cooperation ratio is high, exceeding 50%. Collected data from them is also of high quality.
When the respondents’ name and address is changed, Nikkei Research is always contacted by email or phone. Whenever the mail survey is conducted, the address changes based on the contact sheets are collected and we update the registered data. In addition, even if no information is given by respondents nor a questionnaire has not been delivered, Nikkei Research deletes the registrant as-needed basis to ensure that the data is always up-to-date.
