In a survey of 10 brands from 7 major companies, Kao's long-loved brand “Merit” became No.1. Earning the highest ratings in 4 of 14 evaluation items, including “repeat purchase rate” and “brand power”. P&G Japan's “Pantene ” and Unilever Japan’s “LUX” came in a close second. “LUX” had ranked 1st in 3 categories, such as “feel of after washing” and “fragrance”.
