In a survey of 7 brands from 7 major companies, Nivea-Kao's NIVEA became No.1, earning the highest rating in 13 of 14 evaluation items (every aspect but "profit margin"), more than 50 points ahead of the 2nd place, Kao's Curél. NIVEA had a huge lead over other brands especially in "brand power," "advertising and promotion such as TV commercials," and "product name".
