Buyer Survey: Kabocha Squash (Japanese Pumpkin)

In a survey of 25 major brands, "Ajihei Kabocha" ranked No.1, one of the Western-style pumpkins which are the majority of the market. It scored well across every 17 evaluation categories. "Ebisu Kabocha" taking 2nd place, with top ratings in 8 categories including "awareness". Closely followed in the 3rd place was "Kuriyutaka", which received the highest scores for "taste/sweetness" and "mouthfeel/food texture".
