In a survey of 846 Japanese companies on their efforts to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 8 companies; Asahi Group Holdings, Seiko Epson, Softbank, etc., received the top-rated level. A total of 276 companies (31.6%) have targeted reducing their greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero or less in the coming future, while 43 companies have set a goal of achieving this by the 2030s.
