The weighted average amount paid to workers of 508 companies (mostly public listed), was 760,565 yen, a 0.77% year-on-year increase. The increase was the first time in three years. The manufacturing industry leading by an increase of 1.63%, and the electrical machinery industry at 965,722 yen with an 8.94% increase. On the other hand, the non-manufacturing sector, which includes railroads/buses, air transport and many other companies in the service industry, saw a 1.76% decline, a negative growth second year in a row.
