The approval rating of the Kishida cabinet was 61%, up 6 points from the previous survey in February. Those who "do not support" were down 4 points to 27%. Upon the Japanese government's efforts in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, 67% approved while 22% disapproved. Combined overall, 85% expressed the economic sanctions against Russia as either "appropriate" (44%) or "should be further strengthened" (41%).
