Major companies' plans to hire college graduates in spring 2023 grew by 18.7% (116,425 employments in total), a significant 4.4% increase from that of spring 2022. In addition, for the FY2022, due to the tendency of hiring skilled and "ready from day 1" talents, the number of mid-career hiring reached 66,384 employments, accounting for 30.5% (the first time surpassing 30%) of the total planned recruitment. The growth rate of mid-career hires also went up to a record high of 23.5% (surpassing 20% for the first time), compared to FY2021.
