Public Opinion Poll: Upper House Election — published on Nikkei

According to the survey regarding Japan's July 10 upper house election, both the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and Komeito are expected to exceed 63 seats, over half of the changing 125 seats, including one vacancy seat to be filled. The Constitutional Democratic Party is struggling, and its chances of maintaining its 23 seats are thin. Nippon Ishin (the Japan Innovation Party) is expected to grow, and the four "pro-constitutional reform forces," including the LDP and the Nippon Ishin, are seeking to maintain the two-thirds of the total number of representatives required for passing a bill.
