The approval rating of the Kishida Cabinet dropped 14 points to 43% from the August survey, marking the lowest since the administration took office. The disapproval rate was 49%. Over the investigation on connections of the ruling party LDP (Liberal Democratic party) and its diet members with the Unification Church, 79% of respondents answered it is "not enough." Respondents opposing former Prime Minister Abe's state funeral rose to 60%, 13 points higher than the survey in July.
