In a survey of 20 brands, Fuji, the most-produced apple in Japan, ranked 1st. It was rated the highest in 13 out of 17 evaluation categories, such as "taste (sweetness)," "recognition," and "texture and crunchiness," outstanding from others. In 2nd came Shinano Sweet, a signature brand of Nagano Prefecture, with its "taste (sweetness)" being high as Fuji and top-rated in "brand name."
