In a survey asking Japanese major companies' corporate lawyers which company has the "strong legal capabilities," Mitsubishi Corporation became No.1 for two years straight. Nippon Steel Corporation and Mitsui & Co. followed. For the best "reliable law firm," chosen by legal officers of Japanese major companies, Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu (last year's 4th) topped the list. Large firms based in Tokyo dominated the top rankings.
