The ease of working at councils scored an overall average of 63.9 points (max 100 points) by 1,059 female members of prefectural and municipal councils nationwide in Japan. For measures to make them easier to work (in multiple choice), "Enhancement of ICT such as making online debating and voting" was the top mentioned at 48.7%. The top reason (in multiple choice) for female delegates to be few was "Difficulty managing both the job and the family such as raising children and caring for other family members," at 63.7%.
