Over the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 64% of all respondents (1,425) answered that their daily lives were affected. On the other hand, 66% think that the Japanese government should continue its support for Ukraine even if there are negative impacts on people's lives and jobs. Respondents over the 70s showed excessive support of up to 83%. While 71% of the total think that sanctions against Russia should be strengthened.
