The approval rating of the Kishida Cabinet was 43%, up 4 points from the January survey. Although the disapproval rating dropped from 54% to 49%, it is remaining higher than the approval rating for six consecutive months. Upon appointing Mr. Kazuo Ueda as the Bank of Japan governor, the rate of "give credit" was 48%, while "do not give credit" was 18%. 65% "approve" the legalization of same-sex marriage, while 24% "oppose."
