University Brand Image Survey – published on Nikkei

Based on the impressions of universities that people in charge of personnel affairs at listed and influential unlisted companies have, Kyoto University topped the overall rankings for the second year in a row. Yokohama National University came in second, with all top 10 universities being national universities. As for universities that want to increase recruitment, Toyohashi University of Technology, which is strong in engineering, rose from second place last year to first place, and seven of the top ten universities were outside the Tokyo metropolitan area.
