The Kishida Cabinet's approval rating is 39%, down 8 points from the previous survey in May. This is the second straight month of decline. The percentage of those who do not support the Cabinet rose seven points to 51%. The top reason for not supporting it was "bad policies" at 46%. 76% of respondents said that the government's response to the series of troubles related to My Number Cards was "insufficient."
