Public Opinion Poll – published on Nikkei

The Kishida Cabinet’s approval rating was 40%, a 1 percentage point increase from the previous survey in June that was almost unchanged. The disapproval rate remained at 51%. The top reason for not supporting the Cabinet was “bad policies” at 45%. 72% of respondents said “do not give credit” to the government’s response to the My Number Cards problem which is thought to be a factor of the flat approval rating.
