Wholesale industry sales in FY2022 were 32,397.5 billion yen, an increase of 4.7% from the previous year for 415 companies that can be compared with FY2021, exceeding the previous year's results for the second consecutive year. Operating profit increased by 30.4% among the 230 comparable companies, marking the second consecutive year of profit growth. 46.7% of companies reported a ''significant increase'' in requests for price increases in transactions with suppliers compared to a year ago.
