The approval rating of the Kishida Cabinet dropped 2 points to 58% from the last June survey. It marked the 2nd lowest level since the administration took office in October 2021. The disapproval rate was 32%, same as that in June. The percentage of respondents who "support" the government's measures against COVID dropped to 56% from June's 63%. Upon holding a state funeral of former Prime Minister Abe, 43% supported, while 47% opposed.
